An original acrylic public library interior opens into a broad, airy hall, with long bookshelves, distant readers and ochre counters beneath a cool blue ceiling. This work belongs to my Public Library series, born from my nostalgia for paper books, quiet reading rooms and the soft rustle of turning pages. Perhaps other readers remember that time too—when a library offered a calm, shared silence in which everyone could disappear into a different world.
-acrylic painting on stretched canvas, ready to hang, all sides are painted.
-40×50×1,5cm. (19,7x15,7inches)
